Our facility in Blue Hills, just north of Kyalami in Midrand, currently offers full time residential care to adults with intellectual disability. We strive to offer our residents the structure and support they need without losing the warmth of home. All residents live semi-independently with a full time live-in care worker in each cottage.
Our Blue Hills Protective Workshop provides a day facility offering stimulation and developmental programmes and training in various life skills for the beneficiaries to assist in developing their sense of worth and pride. It also provides opportunities for socialization, sport and recreational activities.
The centre generates a vital additional source of income through various types of contract work.

- Mail shots, sorting and insertion work
- Bulk labelling and collating work
- Component assembly
- Light manufacturing work
